Germany: Carpevigo AG Starts Construction on PV Plant in Lower
Bavaria
Carpevigo
AG has commenced the construction of another PV solar power plant
in Southern Germany. The power plant, located in Lower Bavaria,
will have a capacity of 1.31 Megawatt (MWp).
The
´Solar Parc Osterhofen´ is being constructed on a 4 hectare area
in the district of Deggendorf, Lower Bavaria.
After
completion, which is scheduled for mid December, the power plant
will feed 1,416 Megawatt hours (MWh) of electricity into the power
grid of E.ON Bayern.
Other
PV solar power plants owned and operated by Carpevigo AG are located
in Upper and Lower Bavaria and in Spain. In
Southern Italy the Holzkirchen/Germany based company is currently
building two solar plants with a capacity of approximately 8 MWp.
